Paulina Opoku-Gyimah says: I happily stumbled upon uber fashion stylist Lucy Ansa-Addo’s work via Metric Collective’s Facebook page for some gorgeous styling she did for Naomi Anna Mcintosh… I just had to dig deeper and I’m beyond impressed with her work.

As you can see from the above photos Lucy Ansa-Addo who is also a musician and a fashion designer is at the top of her game –and knows her stuff. Her portfolio is beyond fierce....

I hope to work with this amazing stylist someday. Also, it would be lovely to see the likes of Lucy Ansa-Addo involved with this years Ghana Fashion & Design Week.. For more info about Lucy Ansa-Addo visit: http://www.ohemax.com/

More Info
Lucy Ansa-Addo is a freelance stylist based in North London. She’s also a singer/songwriter using the artist name of Ohema X.

BA (Hons) Fashion Sportswear Graduate from London College of Fashion, she’s had amazing opportunities from work experience at the age of 15 with world class designer Bruce Oldfield (Princess Diana)- then assisting stylists for Harry Potter cast: Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Evanna Lynch and Matt Lewis to name a few.

The assisting part of her career has led her to work on shoots alongside leading record labels such as Warner Brothers and Mercury Records.
As her career is growing she has styled artists such as Stooshe (Warner), Devlin (Island), Smiler (Warner), Shystie, Angel (Island), Jagga (Sony) for Disorder Magazine.
Also, being a fashion designer she has had her garments worn by girl group Stooshe (Courtney) and Ruby Goe.
She is published in Dazed and Confused Magazine whilst styling Lady Leshurr (for her press shots and official single music video “Lego”) – Leshurr was featured on a B.E.T Freestyle Cypher which aired alongside the U.S. Hip Hop Awards 2011 with styling by Lucy.
With a growing number of achievements to her name, Lucy continues to convey innovation, creativity and inspiration through styling and design.
Naomi Anna Mcintosh will again be showcasing with Metric Collective for 2013!

“I would say relationships with showrooms/PRs/designers are extremely important and a lot of stylists try and keep their contacts to themselves just because you can’t dress your client without these contacts, only unless you’re a designer yourself.” Lucy Ansa-Addo
Lucy Ansa-Addo was interviewed by PKalinna wordpress and its very inspirational -do check it out via: http://pkalinna.wordpress.com/2013/05/15/stylist-lucy-ansa-addo/
