A successful actress, ex wife of uber director, John Singleton (the ex boyfriend of Tyra Banks), and a 'yummy mummy' (she has an eleven year old daughter with Mr Singleton) -Akosua is a signed up member of the elite, 'putting-Ghana-on-map' brigade. The daughter of, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia (the former Prime Minister of Ghana from 1969 to 1972) -she was educated at Oxford University, England, (like her father) and is a princess from the Royal Family of Wenchi. Akosua appeared and found global success in, 'The Colour Purple' - and has gone on to star in many films and TV shows -including, 'Tears of the Sun' and ER. I love 'our' Akosua's Afro-centric style. She always looks effortlessly groomed and does, 'chi chi Africa' very well -adding a modern twist to traditional attire. Go Akosua....
