It turns out that Ghanaian women are also more savings-conscious than we Brits with new research revealing that women in the west African county are far more likely to save money, with 94% of them putting some aside each month compared to just 55% of women in Britain. The study, part of Barclays ‘Banking -on Change’ initiative, also found that Ghanaian women are significantly more ambitious when it comes to business, with 90% of them hoping to start their own company one day, compared to just 41% of British women." Honestly, I’ve always known these facts, -and hope this goes some way (because most of Ghana’s movers & shakers read Ghana Rising) to helping big businesses in Ghana, to hopefully start leading money to more women; because unfilled ambition/potential is devastating (and I have personal experience)….
I AM NOT SURPRISED BY THIS BECAUSE AS A DIPLOMAT CAMEROONIAN MY UNCLE ALWAYS TOLD ME HOW GHANAIAN WOMEN AND WEST AFRICAN WOMEN HAVE A NATURAL BUSINESS GIFT. DID YOU REMEMBER THE FAMOUS NANA BENZ?
