Hon. Hannah Tetteh endorses BE BOLD event and opens TALK SHOW as the first guest
• Young entrepreneurs dazzle audience with varying talents.

Accra, January 10, 2011 - e.tv ghana has launched a new talk show; BE BOLD. Airing every Sunday between 9pm and 10pm, the newest television talk show promises to be the most exciting programme to attract a huge following especially amongst the youth.

Hon. Ms. Hannah Tetteh, Minister of Trade and Industry who was the first guest on the show applauded e.tv and INEN ltd, a team of young entrepreneurs with the BE BOLD vision, for the laudable initiative.

Showing every week on e.tv ghana, the BE BOLD Talk show will provide a unique platform to young entrepreneurs to share their success stories and channel their energies into finding solutions to common challenges faced by young people in the business world.

Founded in 2008 by Christal Jeanne and Sterre Mkatini, BE BOLD is an innovative initiative to empower Ghanaians and Ghanaian – heritage youth to reverse brain drain to brain gain by building confidence in the Ghanaian economy rather than always looking outside for opportunities. Thus, BE BOLD hopes to encourage graduate Ghanaians living abroad to return home and those living here to stay here and help build the economy by investing their talent and knowledge.

“The purpose of the show is to spur up discussions and create awareness of situations Ghanaians face especially in the business environment. The show will also be a support system for exceptional entrepreneurs who have a vision but lack the means to turn their vision into reality” says Co-Founder Christal Jeanne who doubles as the host of the BE BOLD Talk show and eBusiness Journal on e.tv ghana.

The grand event launched at the Golden Tulip Hotel also witnessed other beautiful activities including a showcase of young talents and young persons excelling in different fields such as fashion, photography, poetry, arts, design, entrepreneurship and many others. Among the talents exhibited at the second annual BE BOLD project were Ekop Fashions Limited, Kabengo Jewellery, Ajepomaa Design Gallery, Capture, Nana Amu Fleischer-Djoleto, Yom, Yvette Nsiah Gyimah, Honey Bee, Knaf Couture, Mina Evans, and the famous all-girl Dzesi Band.

The event was sponsored by Global Media Alliance, Koala, Silverbird Ghana, Digital Innovation, Waasps, Accents and Arts and Lincoln Community School, Express Funds International Limited, Express Life Insurance Company Limited, Express Savings and Loans Company Limited, AC Sport Inc, Capture with media support from e.tv ghana, 4Syte TV, Studio 53, YFM, Joy FM and Enjoy Magazine.
