Paulina Opoku-Gyimah says: I remember some time back, -one of my friends predicting that in the not-tooo-distant-future, folks back home [in Ghana] will be sending us SIKA in Europe and beyond, and you know what, –she was sooo right because its already happening!!!

What with the credit-crunch, the cold (with possible snow on the way), the capping of benefits, water rates, TV licence, council tax, HM Revenue on most of our backs (mercy) –they only people I know –truly enjoying themselves or chilling as we Ghanaian like to call it are back home in Ghana!!!!!!  And good for them –they deserve it –and sooo do we…

Just look at our sister chilling and vogue-ing at last December’s 2012 ‘Becca's Girl Talk Concert’ held at Accra International Conference Centre!!! Dressed-to-kill (literally), some more successful than others –but all smiling and happy, and all free of council tax woes and the possibilities of having their child benefits taken away (laughter)…..

Anyway(s), have you spotted the latest trend in Ghana??? Yep!!!! I’ve just clocked it too.. I don’t know what to call it, errrrmmm Rapunzel hair!!!! Personally, that long, long, long extension thingy is not my thing …but each-to-their-own..

I thought it was a hoot that actress and TV presenter Ama K and a fellow reveller wore the same dress to said event!!!!!  I’m thinking..... Ama needs to stock up when she’s in London or have statement pieces made for her –she is worth it -after all!!!!
