President John Dramani Mahama tackles Ghana’s Sanitation Issues








"President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday performed a ground breaking ceremony in Accra for the commencement of work on the Accra Sanitation, Sewer and Stormwater Drainage Alleviation Project.

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) is executing the project in partnership with Conti Infrastructure Ghana Limited, an international construction and infrastructure development Services Company.
 
The $595 million is a five year design-build project aimed at improving the drainage and sewer systems in the Accra metropolis, focusing on the flood zone in the Odaw Basin to alleviate the flooding and insanitary conditions."  www.facebook.com/JDMahama
