Ghana Rising Hearts Jane Awindor aka Efya

[Efya in sculptural yellow dress with friends]

Like all true creative types, Jane Awindor’s a chameleon. With new management and a change of name –Jane has spent the last year on a fashion journey and has emerged as one of Ghana’s hottest fashionistas, going form what I can only describe as ‘maame-maame-provincial’ to sleek, on-trend, fully paid-up member of Ghana’s ever fabulous ‘fash-pack’. Jane doesn’t always get it right [who does] and has at times been spotted with ‘ghetto red hair’, pedestrian plaits –and ‘wannabe’ video vixen corsets but when she is good, –she’s really good. Conspicuous and eclectic -I especially love her in cute afro-centric dresses, with ‘haute’, sleek hair –and uber stylish; with blond hair, large ‘bling’ earrings, sexy black dress and killer heels [as seen in the last photograph by Rodney Quarcoo]. Ghana Rising’s very excited about this rising ‘homegrown’ talented stylista...
