Weddings in Ghana: Do you want 'Sweets for your Sweet and Sugar for your Honey' Head to Candy Land Ghana…….

A Few Pointers for your wedding 'sweet table'

Fab labels and beautiful clear glass containers are essential......

The above table displays are fab indicators that for a more glamorous, Luxe grown-up feel, you really need to display your sweets in beautifully labelled clear glass jars and bowls… You can work with a graphic designer and Candy land to achieve this. You will need to ask Candy land if they have theses retro/vintage glass containers if not you need to source them yourself.

Get Colour Wise....

Pink and white sweets in beautifully labelled glass containers....

Pink and gold candy bar......

Orange sweets...
As you plan your wedding by colour, I think it’s also important for you to try as much as possible to stick to sweets of the same colour -as it pulls everything together and looks fab. I feel that the above ‘sweet tables’ look lovely because of the use of only two colours at the most, –making them elegant, grown-up and inviting..

If you are going for sweets –I prefer the sweets to be mixed in with cupcakes and colourful macarons –turning the table into a 'dessert’s table' which I think is far nicer. You can work with the likes of Candy land and your cake maker to create this.

Fruits are Us......
I love this gorgeously juicy fruit centre piece from a wedding organised by INEN Ltd Ghana..

I’m thinking ......maybe the best balance ….is to add fruit pieces like the naturally colourful fruit kebabs and elegant glasses of fruits (above) to your 'sweet table'… it will get everybody’s sweet juices flowing..

Paulina says: Thinking of shipping hundreds of ‘Pound Shop’ bought Sweets and loads of clear glass containers and an assortment of colourful bowls to decorate your wedding table to Ghana?

Personally I prefer a cornucopia of juicy eye-popping fruits at weddings but I know that a growing number of you prefer what wedding planners call the ‘sweet table’ –all those full-to-bursting heavy-laden tables with colourful candy…and I don’t blame you as it goes down-a-treat with both adults and kids alike…
