***The serenely secluded beautiful Keta beach in Ghana....
**This photo of 'Hillburi' Aburi -the resort on the hill in Ghana is beautifully shot at night and captures the breath-taking views and infinity pool perfectly...
**Beautiful, clean and serene Ezile Bay Village is a must for sun lovers visiting Ghana...
This photo is beautifully shot and the sun is shining, just what a good beach photo should be...
**Lovely Beyin beach in Western region Ghana.....
I think maybe we need to rake the beach at night and add crisp white seat pads to the lounges -to make them look more inviting...
Would love to see this -chalets built over the sea in Ghana.....
Chalets and infinity pools… it would be lovely to see
this in Ghana…
This uber decked balcony over the sea would be perfect in Ghana...we need better designed resorts in Ghana.....
**One of Cape Coast's lovely beaches in Ghana...
All it takes is the removal of some of these rocks (they can used to build garden borders etc) and a a painted white wooden platform into the sea and you have perfection....
**White Sands Beach Resort and Spa in Ghana offers seclusion and yummy relaxation....
I believe we have similar in Ghana -but the crisp white delicate cotton curtains
and white cushy cushions add comfort that tends to be missing in Ghana, we need
more of this please….
Lovely beach and private island (perfect for a fantastic exclusive restaurant) at Fanta's Folly Beach Lodge in Ghana.....
**The lush interiors of Lou Moon Lodge in Ghana are well designed and full of contemporary 'African' character and charm....
***This room in White Sands Beach Resort and Spa in Ghana is clean, calm and inviting and goes some way to offer the luxury of the above room. All that's needed is a lick of white paint on the walls and crisp white cotton or linen beddings and this room is perfect..
The beautiful secluded Senya Breku and Gomoa Fete beaches in Central Region Ghana are ripe for well designed luxury resorts and spas...
Paulina says: Did you know that at some of the most
exclusive resorts in yummy Mauritius –some staff are paid to rake the beach early
in the morning, getting rid of sharp stones and rubbish, leaving the beach
breathtakingly beautiful, in time for their guest to wake up to serene perfect
unspoilt beaches….. I can’t imagine this happening in Ghana –can you?
Hopefully now that Ghana’s beach resorts are upping their
game, revamping and making a feature of their beaches –maybe, just maybe….we
just might see locals being employed to rake the beaches.
I’ve been working hard, compiling a list of Ghana’s high
end services and uber fabulous attractions including: resorts (not nearly
enough of them), high-end hotels, restaurants, fashion boutiques, shopping
malls, make-up stores, hairstylists, cosmetic surgeries ( I kid you not),
gynaecologists, private hospitals, etc, etc and ventured into our
just-about-to-blow-up beaches and decided there and then that the beaches in
Keta are the best, in fact the beaches throughout the Volta region are the best
bar the fabulously exclusive Bojo beach..
So I was looking for images of Keta Beach and stumble
upon these lovely photographs of Ghana’s best beaches and wonderful coastline many
via must-visit-web ‘Sky Scraper City’ and just had to share.
Be honest……..don’t you wish you was in Ghana right now?
These beautiful, clean –with emphasis on clean, un-crowded
with emphasis on un-crowded, sandy beaches are what real holiday seekers are
after and those in charge of Ghana’s tourism will do well to sell these types
of images to ‘sun seekers’…..
Yes there will be those who want to visit the king’s
palace in Kumasi and those who want to visit the slave castles in Cape Coast
but like much feted Mauritius, Maldives, Seychelles and now Cape Verde –we must
make sure we can offer new lush beautiful resorts, clean un-crowded sandy
beaches maybe in Keta or other beaches in the Volta region, –where passengers
can be transported from Kotoka International Airport to said resorts in
seaplanes etc… We have fabulous beaches sooo why not?
