The State of the Nation: Only the BONES are left……

Title: NDC Blames Duffour For Economic Crisis
Dated: 10/9/13

It is a reality that aside of direct beneficiaries of the GYEEDA largesse, members of the Youth For Mahama Campaign, and some Executives of the NDC including alleged beneficiaries of Judgement Debts, every citizen of Ghana is feeling the pains of the nation’s economic crunch.

Ghanaians were not surprised when the President, John Dramani Mahama openly admitted that the meat has all been consumed, leaving only the bones to chew.

National Digest sources at the Presidency has hinted that Government has started holding consultative meetings on the 2014 budget statement that will be placed before Parliament and is also assessing the 2012 election year economic performance and the causes of the huge deficit of 12.1 per cent and have come to the conclusion that Dr. Kwabena Duffour, then Minister of Finance performed woefully.

National Digest sources at the Presidency cited the payment of over 600 million Ghana Cedis as Judgement Debts, Procurement corruption, the failure of the Banks, especially Merchant Bank, Agricultural Development Bank whose vaults have been depleted to near bankruptcy coupled with the scandals at SNNIT, BOST, SIC and several other state institutions as some of the failures of Kwabena Duffour which has impacted negatively on the nation’s economy.

It also said Dr. Kwabena Duffour allegedly used his position to channel public sector employee’s salaries through his bank, UNIBANK.

Now the battle lines are said to have been drawn between the current Finance Minister, soft spoken Seth Terkper who has been tasked to clear the mess left by Duffour and the former Ministers loyalists at the Ministry who are bent on frustrating Seth Tekper.

And whilst the battle rages on the shrewd Kwabena Duffour is alleged to have instructed his paper, The Heritage, to stay away from the firing line whilst his infantry fights Seth Terkper.
Strangely, Seth has found an ally who is so influential in the NDC to send his prayers to the President.

The Enquirer owned by versatile Raymond Archer has jumped to Seth Tekpers corner and indications are that Dr. Kwabena Duffour cannot hide forever unless of course Raymond Archer considers the fact that the former Finance Minister played a key role in frustrating the NPP at the 2012 elections.

“4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” Ezekiel 37 V 4-6

Paulina says: You couldn’t make this up even if you wanted to……. With revenues coming in from gold, cocoa, oil and colossal borrowing ---all we have left are BONES -really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, there is hope Ghana, we have God on our side…Amen.
