Ghana is very much the land of safe in the box wedding
transportation, thus as yet ….you will not find a bride going to the church,
reception or on her honeymoon on a horse, Vespa, horse drawn carriage, fabulous
old-school glamorous vintage Bentley or the first photo taken by Nana Kofi
Acquah of a lovely trendy Ghanaian couple in a vintage car –a real first for
Ghanaian weddings…..
There is nothing as elegant or as fabulous as a timeless vintage/retro
or classic car for your big day –plus can you image the photographs? But I’m afraid
most Ghanaian weddings are filled with the usual suspects, the ubiquitous glamorous
new black: Rolls Royce Phantom & Ghosts, Bentleys, Maybachs, Mercedes,
BMWs’ provided by high end car rental firms like Eurostar Global Limousine Ltd
in Ghana….. And whilst there’s nothing wrong with the aforementioned glamorous
statesmen like cars -many like me prefer something with a bit more character,
something unique, quirky or outside the box.
So I’m thinking….. there’s space for another niche
business in Ghana, a fab business that rents out vintage cars for big events, because
I’ve been searching around and bar a few folks with old cars sitting in their garages
(sooo not willing to let anyone touch them for fear of whatever) –vintage cars
for rent in Ghana has eluded me ooOOOooo.
Also if you do decide to get into said business, remember
unlike all those new cars for rent – sexy vintage cars don’t depreciate but
gain in value –so it’s a win, win, win situation. Can you imagine anything
worse than a nearly new five year old Bentley for your big day, one that’s not old enough to be
called a vintage or new enough to be called new –if that makes sense.
Please note, I know there are many types of vintage cars,
but I prefer a more vintage-y, vintage-y look like the English Jaguar Mark V or
quirky Morris Minors (also English) like the cream one above, or that sexy film
star French Rivera look, funky retro VW convertible are fab and fun and classy,
or to the more classic much older ‘Bugsy Malone’ cars but I’m not fussy –and
just want details of what’s available and for how much in Ghana…. Sooo please

the ones above are VERY DIFFERENT from USED CARS…. So please only leave details
