“Last week Printex hosted a select group of Ghana's Top designs at an exclusive event at the African Regent Hotel. Special Presentations were made by noted African fashion blogger Terence Sambo of @OneNigerianBoy and an apparel specialist from USAID/West Africa Trade Hub. Check out the short video with Brigitte Merki, Maksi, Mina Evans, Afri-Ken, Nuna Couture, and Sa4a.” Printex
Paulina Opoku-Gyimah says: I’m very pleased….Printex one of only four remaining textile houses in Ghana has joined forces with local fashion designers in a wonderful marketing exercise that looks set to put their wax print cloths on par with world leaders, -Dutch textile house, Vlisco and hopefully beyond!!!
Regular readers of Ghana Rising know all too well of my wishes to see Ghana’s fading textile mills upping their game, -and I truly believe that this venture is a step in the right direction. We in return must support them and buy made in Ghana / made in Africa cloths… Ghana Rising blog says a big well done to Printex -and looks forward to more initiatives from this promising mill.

I love Vickie Remeo she is an amazing young lady from Sierra Leone who documented her return to her native land but she also had a great fondness for Ghana so big up to her! And printex for recognizing that local designers are the pulse of afro-urban trends
