Paulina Opoku-Gyiamh says: We all know that business in Ghana all about preaching to the converted, just selling to those on your doorstep and events in Ghana are just the same (mercy)..
And it very tiring to constantly research, hunt down info and at times telephone for info with regards to events in Ghana –when the info is not forthcoming. Plus regular readers of Ghana Rising Blog know that I like to do things properly, and to attach the correct contact details –so businesses can benefit not just Ghana based clients/customers but tourists and beyond travelling to Ghana; but when an event that I know is going to be roadblock doesn’t have a website or even a Facebook page –it’s just tiring!!!
Also I love Takoradi –now known as, ‘Oil City’ ---sexy don’t ya think; and when I know said event is going to be taking place there, -a city I lovesss and as far as I’m concerned is about to become Ghana’s next big city and next big thing’ let’s be honest its more glamorous than Kumasi can ever hope to be …its disappointing to not to have a go-to-hub-of-on-tap-info -soooo I decided not to blog about it –I did the same with the Bass Awards –I just can’t be bothered if the organisers can’t be bothered to put more info out there.
As you are all aware -I soooooooo can’t leave ‘well alone’ -soo I decided to Google said event and thankfully others have now written about it, its taking place today –after all, -and even though there is still no FB or website for this hope-to-be-annual-fashion-show I thought I’d share what Modern Ghana had to say about it…..
